Puzzle Tips
A couple of tips that I have for someone personally in working towards completing their first or possibly 30th puzzle - a traditional 2D puzzle, this is how you may go about it:

​Sort the pieces into the number of interjambs (I would personally call them prongs - none, 1, 2 - on either end, 2 - corner version, 3, 4). Therefore, make sure that you collect those corner pieces if there are any.

Be sure to have trays or flat surfaces to put the sorted pieces out so that you can easily see and group similar colours together.

I would personally try to work from the outside in - doing the border as much as possible, working out clear parts of the puzzle such as people, animals, objects, etc.
